EZ Reusable Objects (EZRO) is a Web application that can be used by non-technical staff to manage content as "objects." Content objects containing text, video, and audio can be shared, modified, and re-styled to appear via a traditional Web site, an on-line course, an innovative "Coach," or as a community of interest site. It is highly scalable and can be used for public Web sites, secure environments, and private intra/extranets.
vrbroadcast is a video on demand and media distribution server. It supports hierarchical networks of servers that will automaticaly update information on the available media. It has a GUI that is only available in German, but the server was written with multi-language support in mind.
PIVIAU is a PHP/MySQL Web based gallery for pictures, videos, and audio that supports tags and EXIF. Albums and pictures have searchable tag, country, city, place, date, subject, and author. An RSS feed is available for every seach you can do, or for recent pictures. There is an AJAX-powered slideshow. Pictures are resized using PHP GD image functions. Videos are viewable a la Google Video using a video flash player. Audio (WAV and MP3) is supported via the embed HTML tag. EXIF is supported via PHP exif functions to extract the picture date.
Advene (Annotate Digital Video, Exchange on the NEt) is aimed at providing a model and a format to share annotations about digital video documents (movies, courses, conferences, etc.), as well as tools to edit and visualize the hypervideos generated from both the annotations and the audiovisual documents. Teachers, moviegoers, etc. can use them to exchange multimedia comments and analyses about video documents. The project also aims at studying the way that communities of users (teachers, moviegoers, students, etc.) will use these self-publishing tools to share their audiovisual "readings", and to envision new editing and viewing interfaces for interactive comment and analysis of audiovisual content.
kPlaylist is a multi-lingual Web-based music streaming system. It can be used as a private or public jukebox. It uses MySQL as database, reads files as MP3, Ogg, WMA, and others and includes a user signup tool, search engine, user editor, personal options, personal and shared playlists, listings of new and popular music, a randomizing feature, and a quick way of browsing albums. Upgrading and installation is automatic.
ccHost is a Web-based infrastructure that may be used to host and allow for commenting, remixing, and distribution globally. The more installations of ccHost and its variations, the more content there will be available for enjoyment and artistic re-use in a sane and legal setting. ccHost is what is used for the infamous Creative Commons CC Mixter project which supports legal media sharing and remixing.

This includes a markup tool for video, a performance evaluation tool that compares how well result data matches ground truth video metadata, and scripts and systems for running sets of experiments.
