Playing can be resumed just by pressing the space bar. It can play movies in many of the formats supported by libav*. Subrip (.srt), microDVD, and subviewer subtitle formats are supported. The meaning can be looked up through an external command. The built-in dictionary parser can parse the stardict dictionary format.

KnLiveCommentary is a realtime video comment streamer. It allows the task of adding comments and showing comments while playing a video stream in realtime. Video data and comments are fetched from a server and comments are displayed as scrolling top or bottom captions as the video advances. KnLiveCommentary also allows an authentication method and provides functions for filtering live comments. This is a project inspired by the video player at nicovideo.jp.
ABPlayer is a video player developed with the Flex 3/4 SDK. It allows users to post comments onto the playing timeline while playing online video. Comments are scrolled across the screen when the video reaches the timeline position of the comment, allowing interactive and realtime commenting on the video. It also features bottom, top, positioned, and reverse scroll options which allow users to create closed captioning and subtitles for videos. Comments support color, font, size, transitions, movements, 3D transforms, and opacity.
