Garble is a console program for downloading data (waypoints, proximity waypoints, tracks, and routes) from Garmin GPS receivers. Garble is based on a portable library that implements most of the Garmin communications protocol, and supports most Garmin GPS receivers. Garble can also read the current time and postion from the GPS, get the product data, and turn off the GPS. Garble has been tested on a GPS 12XL (firmware 3.53) and a GPS III .
Gcal displays hybrid and proleptic Julian and Gregorian calendar sheets, respectively, for one month, three months, or a whole year, and also eternal holiday lists for many countries around the globe. It features a very powerful creation of fixed date lists that can be used for reminding purposes (i.e., it can display fixed dates on the day on which they fall and remind the user about them either on screen or by email), and calculate various astronomical data and times of the Sun and the Moon for any location, precisely enough for most purposes.
GClipper is a multiple buffer clipboard that automatically fetches new selections and maintains them in a history. It shows a listview with the fetched selections and allows the visualization of their details. The selected row in the listview will be used to determine the data for selection retrieval (paste).
GNU gengetopt takes a simple description of arguments and generates a C function that uses the GNU getopt_long(3) function to parse and validate the options. It is perfect if you are too lazy to write all that is required to call getopt_long(3), or need to use many options. The generated code also works with autoconf or automake.
Genius is an arbitrary precision integer and multiple precision floating point calculator. It includes its own programming language similar in some aspects to C, bc, or Pascal. It can deal with rational numbers and complex numbers. It has matrix support as well. It uses the gmp library so it is very fast for calculations of large numbers. It has a command line and a GNOME interface. The GNOME interface supports plotting functions and 3D surfaces.
