Thyrd is an experimental, reflective, visual programming language and environment. In Thyrd, both data and code are stored in cells situated in nested two-dimensional grids. All operations the user can perform to edit the structure are implemented as operators in the Thyrd language, thus a Thyrd program can inspect and modify itself or other programs in the same space. Thyrd belongs to the Forth family of languages. It most resembles Joy in that it uses quotation and combinators to implement iteration and recursion.
Libtermui is a terminal driver library. It is fully standalone and lightweight. It does not rely on termcap or curses libraries. It can drive terminals on a TTY or through a telnet connection directly on a TCP socket. It is fully re-entrant, and can be used to drive multiple terminals from different threads. It includes a getline feature (similar to the one in readline) and some console user interface facilities.
pyratemp is probably (one of) the smallest complete template-engines for Python (with about 500 LOC). It has a very small set of special syntax in the templates. This reduces complexity and the probability of bugs and lead to an easy-to-use and intuitive user-interface. It uses embedded Python-expressions (in a "sandbox"), is well documented, has full Unicode-support, and produces very good error-messages, which is very useful when creating new templates.
libkinput is a small, lightweight command line editing library. It was written as a smaller alternative to the readline library. The main goal of the project is to implement a clean, lightweight, and easy to modify readline equivalent for small and medium CLI applications. It is part of ASNlibs.
libTISCH is a framework for easy development of multi-touch applications. It contains tools for video processing, calibration, gesture recognition and, most importantly, a GUI toolkit with widgets that utilize the multi-touch gestures detected by the lower layers. It runs on Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows.
XUIML for Adobe Flex is a framework and markup language to create Adobe Flex user interfaces quickly and without coding a single line of ActionScript. The XUIML terminal connects to any SOAP or RESTful Web service and expects simple UI instructions such as "open window", "add tab panel", or "draw textbox", which are then rendered as Adobe Flex widgets.
