Axualize is a tool for creating applications by actualizing Java objects using XML. Axualize is based on JSR-57, and is intended to allow developers to create Java applications dynamically using XML. To understand how this could be useful, imagine a J2EE application with multiple client UIs being generated from Web applications. Using Axualize, you can present multiple form-based GUI front ends to your application by dropping in a Web application which builds your GUI applications using Axualize XML generated with JSP and whatever application framework you please.

reacTIVision is a computer vision framework for the fast and robust tracking of fiducial markers attached to physical objects, as well as for multi-touch finger tracking. It was mainly designed as a toolkit for the rapid development of table-based tangible user interfaces and interactive multi-touch surfaces such as the reacTable. Client application examples are available for various programming environments such as C++, Java, C#, Processing, PureData, Max/MSP, and Quartz Composer.
Flying Saucer is a pure Java XML/CSS 2 renderer whose aim is to provide spec-compliant CSS 2.1 rendering for any well-formed XML document. The current codebase can render to Java2D-based canvases (Swing panels), PDF via the iText library, and images. The library currently covers the greater part of the CSS 2.1 specification.
