It enables you to sign your messages with a different sig every time. signature allows you to define a signature template containing static and placeholder text, the latter of which will be dynamically replaced with the output of fortune(6) or any other program whenever a signature is required. As an alternative, you can also create your own quote file containing your favourite tag lines.
yencode is an encoder, decoder, and posting package for the popular Usenet yEnc encoding format. It features the ability to encode single or multipart archives, a smart decoder which can decode multiple files (including files specified out of order or with nonsense filenames), an optional scan mode with recursion, and an easy to use Usenet posting utility. It is fully compliant with the yEnc specifications.

stdin2news is a simple script that posts imput from STDIN to a news server. It is easily configurable, doesn't require any external programs, and can be used in batch jobs. Unlike rnews it does not require a msgid to be provided, as it presumes it will be generated by the news server.
