Agora is a Web-based, threaded discussion tool, similar to Usenet newsgroups. Agora remembers each user's preferences, and allows threaded, unread-only browsing. It offers the ability to manage several different groups, with different themes, forums, and administrators for each group. Agora offers a basic Web-based ICQ client, as well as a Web-based notes system.
Taylor UUCP provides everything you need to make a UUCP connection. It includes versions of uucico, uusched, uuxqt, uux, uucp, uustat, uulog, uuname, uuto, uupick, and cu, as well as uuchk (a program to check configuration files), uuconv (a program to convert from one type of configuration file to another), and tstuu (a test harness for the package).
Gemini is an advanced, multi-platform, standards compliant, messaging and calendaring client with powerful features for managing mail and news from multiple sources. Gemini provides flexible filtering of messages and protection from junk mail, viruses, and common breaches of netiquette. It has an attractive interface which is easy to use, yet hides nothing from the more advanced user. The SeaMonkey project is a community effort to develop an all-in-one Internet application suite. It contains an Internet browser, email and newsgroup client with an included Web feed reader, HTML editor, IRC chat, and Web development tools, and is sure to appeal to advanced users, Web developers, and corporate users. It uses much of the Mozilla source code powering such successful siblings as Firefox, Thunderbird, Camino, Sunbird, and Miro.
