Moosic is a music player that focuses on easy playlist management. It consists of a server process that maintains a queue of music files to play and a client program which sends commands to the server. The server continually runs through its playlist, popping items off the top of the list and playing each with an external program. The client is a simple command-line utility which allows you to perform powerful operations upon the server's queue, including the addition of whole directory trees, automatic shuffling, and item removal according to regular expressions. The server comes configured to play MP3, Ogg, MIDI, MOD, and WAV files.

fpgatools is a toolchain for programming flexible programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). The only supported chip at this time is the xc6slx9, a cheap (circa $10 U.S.) but powerful 45nm-generation chip with about 2400 LUTs, block ram, and multiply-accumulate devices. The principles of fpgatools are to reach the maximum physical performance of the chip, to provide fast development cycles, to be an independent toolchain which only depends on other Free Software, and to be a lightweight C implementation without a GUI.

The Epoch Init System is an init system for Linux designed with ease of configuration and non-intrusiveness in mind. It has no external dependencies besides libc and pthreads on a Linux 2.6+ system, though a working /bin/sh is suggested. It's suitable for large and small Linux distributions, but was designed with a focus on smaller Linux systems. It's features include a log system capable of recording boot events before the filesystem is made writable, ASCII runlevels, a convenient, single configuration file setup, automatic hostname setting at boot, automatic virtual filesystem mounting (think /proc), PID file support, stuck job killing during bootup and shutdown, integrated color greeting banner support, and automatic service restart support, to keep vital services running at all times.
