Hoard is a scalable memory allocator (malloc replacement) for multithreaded applications. Hoard can dramatically improve your application's performance on multicore machines. No changes to your source are necessary; just link it in. Hoard scales linearly up to at least 64 processors. Supported platforms include Linux, Solaris, Mac OS X, and Windows.
HTMLDOC converts HTML files and Web pages into indexed HTML, PostScript, and PDF files suitable for online viewing and printing. httpMonitor is a Python program which lets you monitor the HTTP traffic between a browser and a Web server. You configure your browser to use httpMonitor as its proxy to ensure that all HTTP traffic between browser and server goes via httpMonitor. In a XML-configuration file you can specify a Python-function as processor for the HTTP-messages you are interested in (requests or responses, which match certain criteria). You may have as many processors as you want, without modifying the actual program. The only thing you need to do is configure the httpMonitor and write your processors.
HTTrack is an easy-to-use offline browser utility. It allows you to download a Web site from the Internet to a local directory, building recursively all directories, getting HTML, images, and other files from the server to your computer. HTTrack arranges the original site's relative link-structure. Simply open a page of the mirrored Web site in your browser, and you can browse the site from link to link, as if you were viewing it online. HTTrack can also update an existing mirrored site, and resume interrupted downloads. WebHTTrack is a Web-based GUI for HTTrack.
integrit is an alternative to file integrity verification programs like tripwire and aide. It helps you determine whether an intruder has modified a computer system. integrit's major advantages are a small memory footprint and simplicity. It works by creating a database that is a snapshot of the most essential parts of your computer system. You put the database somewhere safe, and you can then use it to make sure that no one has made any illicit modifications to the computer system. In the case of a break in, you know exactly which files have been modified, added, or removed.
Ion is a tiling (no overlapping windows) window manager that also has PWM-style tabbed frames which can contain multiple client windows. These features help to keep windows organized and to switch quickly between them. Ion was designed primarily as an efficient and unobtrusive window manager for users who prefer the keyboard.

jftpgw is a proxy server for the FTP protocol. It is highly configurable, allowing you to use an XML-like configuration file to define almost any combination of the client's IP, the server's IP, the user name, the destination port, and so on. jftpgw supports inetd/daemon mode, transparent proxying, forwards, caching, logging, data IP and port specification (port ranges), limiting of the number of simultaeous sessions, and several proxy login styles for clients that support FTP proxies.
John the Ripper is a fast password cracker, currently available for many flavors of Unix, Windows, DOS, BeOS, and OpenVMS. Its primary purpose is to detect weak Unix passwords. It supports several crypt(3) password hash types commonly found on Unix systems, as well as Windows LM hashes. On top of this, lots of other hashes and ciphers are added in the community-enhanced version (-jumbo), and some are added in John the Ripper Pro.
