Genius is an arbitrary precision integer and multiple precision floating point calculator. It includes its own programming language similar in some aspects to C, bc, or Pascal. It can deal with rational numbers and complex numbers. It has matrix support as well. It uses the gmp library so it is very fast for calculations of large numbers. It has a command line and a GNOME interface. The GNOME interface supports plotting functions and 3D surfaces.

LinAl was designed to bring together C++ and FORTRAN. At the same time LinAl is supposed to be easy to use, fast, and reasonably safe. The LinAl library is based on STL techniques and uses STL containers for the storage of matrix data and STL algorithms where feasible. Low level, algebraic operators, linear solvers, and eigenvalue solvers are implemented, based on calls to BLAS, LAPACK, and CGSOLX.

Condorcet with Dual Dropping is a ranking system for deciding single or multi-winner contests (elections) using voted preference (or approval) ballot list or pairwise tally matrix. It computes the Cloneproof Schwartz Sequential Dropping (CSSD) and Tideman's Ranked Pair (RP) results for each contest round, and selects the combined CSSD and RP outcome with the lowest overall dropping cost. There are options to compute just the CSSD, RP, or Minimum Dropping Cost outcome, various optional pair rank and winner tie-breakers, and alternative measures of dropping cost (winning votes and/or margin). It comes as a console program and CGI executable.
