FVWM-min is a minimal standard configuration for FVWM which provides a sane and functional set of window manager defaults. It configures FVWM to a very clean and functional state, then gets out of your way so you can do your work. The basic idea is that after installation, it should be usable enough for you to start productive work in it immediately. Styles are included for customizing the look, and are applied with a small shell script.
Jug is a task-based parallelism framework. Jug allows you to write code that is broken up into tasks and run different tasks on different processors. It uses the filesystem to communicate between processes and works correctly over NFS, so you can coordinate processes on different machines. Jug is a pure Python implementation and should work on any platform that can run Python.
glNetViz is a tool for visualizing computer network topologies with WebGL. With the abilities of real time visualizing network traffics flowing around the local network and to/from the Internet, you can manage the various network more easily and efficiently. glNetViz is intended to be a convenient tool that can easily visualize the network topology from the serialized data in YAML or JSON.
pyReScene is a tool that recreates original RARs by backing up the metadata. It is a port of ReScene .NET to Python. It provides a mechanism for backing up and restoring the metadata from "scene" released RAR files. RAR archive volumes are rebuilt using the stored metadata in the SRR file and the files extracted from the RAR archive. pyReScene consists of multiple related tools: pyReScene Auto to create a complete SRR with one simple command, pyReSample to recreate sample files, and pyReScene Usenet to create SRR files on the fly from Usenet postings. Lots of other small scripts for managing SRR and SRS files are available too.
JSONBOT is a remote event-driven framework for building bots that talk JSON to each other over XMPP. This distribution provides bots built on the JSONBOT framework for console, IRC, XMPP for the shell and WWW, and XMPP for the Google App Engine. A plugin infrastructure can be used to write your own functionality.
IIR is a C++ library that implements fast IIR filters: bandpass, bandstop, lowpass, and highpass. These can be designed using popular analogue filter functions such as Butterworth, Bessel, Chebyshev, Elliptic, Legendre, and pole placement. Creation of a complete filter requires only a single command and filtering is performed with a single function taking a sample and returning its result instantly. The library is template-based and avoids new/mallocs throughout. This library has been adapted form Vinnie Falco's original work and has been converted to run on Unix systems and turned into a realtime causal filter.
