FVWM-min is a minimal standard configuration for FVWM which provides a sane and functional set of window manager defaults. It configures FVWM to a very clean and functional state, then gets out of your way so you can do your work. The basic idea is that after installation, it should be usable enough for you to start productive work in it immediately. Styles are included for customizing the look, and are applied with a small shell script.
wmphoto+ displays the images in the dockable application window. You can switch the images manually or display them as a slide show. Each image accepts up to two related commands. You can run them using mouse buttons when the application displays the image. Using the alternative configuration directories, you can run a few instances of the program that display the different sets of images.
wminfo is a Window Maker dockable application that displays text format information using the plugin. The standard plugin is a shell script. The plugin writes the information to stdout, and wminfo captures the output and displays it row by row. Using the appropriate plugins, wminfo can display different information obtained from the system or from the Internet.
DSWM (Deep Space Window Manager) is a tiling keyboard-driven X11 window manager. It is based on StumpWM code and is written entirely in Common Lisp and oriented for good usability with minimum startup configuration and good integration with Emacs. The project is under hard development, so it has many experimental features.
Peggy helps you to create GTK applications that run out-of-the-egg. It offers functions to load resources (like .glade files, images, and locales) from a zipped or unzipped egg. It is a thin layer on top of setuptools and PyGtk. It doesn't do anything very fancy, but it can save you from reading some documentation.
Diskus is a high-level hard drive diagnostic and limited repair tool. It checks the disk geometry by writing numbered IDs into the sectors of the hard drive. Later one can verify that these sector-IDs on the disk are still correct, thereby detecting data which was not correctly written. There is an option to "freshen" the data on your harddrive, which will read and rewrite the sectors. With modern drives this will re-map defective sectors.
