ski is a game in which you ski down an infinite slope, facing such hazards as trees, ice, bare ground, and the man-eating Yeti. Since you have put your jet-powered skis on backwards, you can't see ahead where you are going; only behind where you have been. However, you can turn to either side, jump or hop through the air, teleport through hyperspace, launch nuclear ICBMs, and cast spells to call the Fire Demon. And since the hazards occur in patches, you can skillfully outmaneuver them. A fun and very silly game that proves you don't need fancy graphical user interfaces to have a good time.

The aim of this project is to create a free (open source, OS independent) remake of the classic SSI game Imperialism. While the spirit and many concepts of the original should be preserved, it should not become a pure copy but advance the concept in a sense that modern elements of strategic games are included, e.g. of the Civilization series. The game is written in Java using Swing for the user interface. The philosophy is to keep it as simple as possible, use standard/well tested libraries wherever possible and to demand clean, understandable code.

Conquest is a simultaneously-executed turn-based tactical combat game placed in a dark and distant future. Play the role of a futuristic commander. Divide your armies and conquer the world. Position satellites to reveal your opponents. Launch missiles to annihilate big armies, but watch out for incoming drop pods behind your back. Standing in your path to victory are other commanders like yourself. Fight them off one by one and prove you are the greatest of the great. The combination of fast gameplay and randomly generated maps equals intense, restless nights of battles for cities. Drag and drop your way to victory.
