Seagull is a multi-protocol traffic generator test tool. Primarily aimed at IMS protocols, it is a powerful traffic generator for functional, load, endurance, stress, and performance tests for almost any kind of protocol. It currently supports Diameter, SIP, HTTP, XCAP, H.248 (ASCII) over UDP/TCP/SCTP/TLS, and TCAP over SS7 or SIGTRAN.
Alvicom LoadManager is a test tool that focuses on load, stress, stability, and performance criteria. The tool runs on all platforms supported by Eclipse and Java. Supported protocols are HTTP, HTTPS, socket (TCP/IP), JMS, and RMI. Result data is collected in a central repository. This data can be exported/manipulated quickly, easily, and usefully. Thousands of virtual users (data units) can be simulated and tested. Color-coding shows which users pass or fail, and a script-link is provided.
diversifEye is a scalable IPTV, Triple Play, and network emulation, analysis, and per flow traffic generation tool specialising in Quality of Service (QOS) and Quality of Experience(QOE) verification that can emulate the client and/or server side of these interactions. The GUI is supported on Windows, Linux, Solaris, and Mac OS X.
simena-io is a Linux tool written in Perl and designed to show ethernet interface statistics in bits/second and packets/second in real time. It requires at least Linux kernel 2.2 and Perl 5. It does not require a root account. There is only one command parameter: the refresh rate in seconds. If no parameter is provided, simena-io will refresh every 2 seconds by default. Detailed documentation can be obtained by running "perldoc simena-io".
curl-loader is a powerful tool for testing and generating load for Web applications. It uses HTTP, FTP, and TLS/SSL stacks. The loader simulates tens and hundreds of thousands of users or clients, each optionally with its own IP address. The goal is to provide an alternative to the Spirent Avalanche and Ixia IxLoad Web application testing solutions.
