Tickle Text is a fast, lightweight text editor with a vast array of features for editing code (such as templates for Tcl, Perl, Python, HTML, and LaTeX and the ability to open various shells), moving scripts and Web pages to or from your server with FTP, exporting to PDF, writing LaTeX, posting to LiveJournal, and more.
Trowser is a browser for large line-oriented text files (such as debug traces). It's meant as an alternative to "less". Compared to less, trowser adds color highlighting, a persistent search history, graphical bookmarking, separate search result windows, and flexible skipping of input from pipes to STDIN. Trowser has a graphical interface, but is designed to allow browsing via the keyboard at least to the same extent as less. Key bindings and the cursor positioning concept are derived from vim.
tkccrypt is a small text file editor frontend for Peter Selinger's ccrypt written in basic Tcl/Tk. The program allows opening and storing only encrypted files, and it guarantees that the decrypted content is never written to disk. Its target audience is made up of users who don't feel confident using a console encryption tool, but need encryption for some text data. The dependency only on ccrypt and Tcl/Tk makes this program very easy to run on many Unix systems.
Esperantilo ("Tool for Esperanto") is a UTF-8 editor with linguistics functions for the language Esperanto, and is also a system for computer aided translation. It contains a spell checker and grammar checker for the Esperanto language. It can translate Esperanto text in different formats to Polish, German, English, and Swedish and from Polish and English. It also supports computer aided translation by interactive machine translation. Translation memory can be used also for any language pairs. It is an XLIFF editor. It supports XLIFF and TMX (Level 1) formats. Machine translation uses direct translation at the syntax level.
PEP is a modeling and verification framework for parallel systems. It provides a large number of different modelling languages (e.g. SDL, B(PN)^2, Petri nets, Process algebras and Finite Automata), and verification techniques (e.g. reachability and temporal logic model checking). Due to its Tcl/Tk-based GUI, PEP is easily extensible to other analysis or specification tools. The framework offers fully integrated simulation and debugging features on all levels.
