Elm Millennium Edition is a text-based mail client. There are two branches: Elm 2.4ME+, which is based on Elm 2.4, and Elm ME+ 2.5, which also incorporates some code from Elm 2.5. Elm Millennium Edition contains enhanced MIME and character set support. A subset of UTF-8 (Unicode) is handled. It can read mail from a local mbox and POP and IMAP folders and can pass mail to the PGP or GPG programs. It can also view digests as a mailbox and reassemble fragmented (message/partial) messages. It includes modules for TLS/SSL, iconv, and SMTP.
foldroid is a mail folder selection tool. For people who use mutt or a similar text mode mail reader, foldroid is a convenient tool to navigate through your mail folders. It shows how many messages are in each folder and how many of them are new. This, combined with a tool like procmail to sort mail messages of mailing lists into separate folders, makes selecting the right folder to read easy. Foldroid works best when you run it in a screen session, because it then starts every instance of mutt in its own screen.
wiggle is A utility that applies conflicted patches intelligently. When 'patch' fails, wiggle often can succeed by ignoring changes to the original file that are not relevant to the patch. The result should always be reviewed, as wiggle cannot notice semantic changes that are important.
advent4 is a port of the original Colossal Cave text adventure to Unix. It should work without any change on HP-UX, Sun Solaris, *BSD, and GNU/Linux systems. The actual license of this program is unknown, although most people agree that it is likely to be considered to be under the public domain.
yuxtapa is a multiplayer real-time CLI game. It looks like a roguelike, but feels like a multiplayer 1st-person shooter with a focus on team play. The idea is to take the "feel" of such team based multiplayer games as Enemy Territory into an NCurses-based game with roguelike controls. Like roguelikes, yuxtapa is lightweight but surprisingly rich under the crude surface. It features several classes from which to choose, each with a different special ability, randomly generated maps which can also be saved and reloaded, and multiple game modes or objectives.
An object-oriented, type safe, multi-threaded approach to computer algebra.
