Sixpack is a graphical and command-line bibliography database manager written in Perl/Tk. It interacts with the supplied package 'bp', which can import and export from a number of formats including bibtex, endnote, medline, procite, and many others. It can download references directly off the Web, and open articles using external viewers. It can also interface with Emacs/XEmacs and Lyx.
RefDB is a reference database and bibliography tool for SGML, XML, and LaTeX documents. Command-line tools allow interactive or scriptable access to the data which are stored in a SQL database. RefDB can also be accessed through a Web interface, a SRU interface, or via editor extensions (Emacs/vim). Libraries for Perl and PHP are available for programmers. RefDB provides sophisticated character encoding handling, using Unicode by default.
gnome-courier is a collection of programs for courier services. It includes programs for managing clients, managing coworkers, managing jobs (receiving, distributing, and editing), printing bills and overdue notices, and managing the payroll. Various statistical modules are available, and since the project is based on a modular concept, it can easily be extended.
refbase is a Web-based bibliographic manager that can import and export references in various formats (including BibTeX, Endnote, ISI, RIS, PubMed, MODS XML, OpenOffice, and Word 2007 XML). It can make formatted lists of citations in HTML, RTF, PDF, or LaTeX, and offers powerful searching and RSS support. Its OpenSearch and SRU/W services and support for unAPI and COinS metadata allow for easy access by clients and search engines.
ChordDB is a Web-based database front-end for keeping track of and typesetting chord files (a.k.a. guitar fake sheets). It accepts chord and chordpro files as inputs, and creates output sets in a large variety of formats (PDF, text, chordpro, LaTeX) with the help of pdftex and the LaTeX Songbook style. Songs are stored internally using SQLite, so there is very little need for configuration.
