Karaoke con SMIL is a project to synchronize audio, text, and images and export the final result to SMIL, which can be played in multimedia players such as Real Player, Helix Player, Ambulant Player, etc. on several devices (computers, mobile phones, PDAs, etc.). In short, this application synchronizes the multimedia elements in a way similar to karaoke.
deplate converts wiki-like markup to LaTeX (standard classes, koma, dramatist, sweave), HTML/PHP (single page, chunked/website, HTML, or s5-based slideshow), DocBook (article, book, man/ref page), and really plain text. Currently supported input formats are viki and Ruby's rdoc. The viki markup supports footnotes, citations, index, table of contents, embedded LaTeX for mathematics, integration with R for dynamically generated figures and tables, and more. Output can be customized via page templates.
GDC is a utility to calculate compressible flow (Gas Dynamics Calculator). It provides calculations for isentropic nozzle, isothermal nozzle, isothermal, Fanno (choke and unchoked), Rayleigh flow, etc. It also provide calculations for shock and oblique shock by direct calculations (no iteration, probably the only one that can do it). GDC also calculates shock dynamics, i.e gas running into a different medium with different speed. The result are in plain text, LaTeX, or a range of values.
