QtUnit is a unit testing framework for C++ which compiles into a shared library. It uses the Qt library for platform independence. Tests can be compiled into modules which are automatically reloaded after modification. The text and graphical testrunners are fully localized and integrate perfectly into IDEs for the display of the exact source location where failures occurred.
GASP is a generic protocol encoder and decoder. It offers a complete scripting language (based on Tcl) which allows you to construct or analyze any packet of data based on abstract protocol definition. This version includes all the basics networking protocols (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, and DNS), some protocols for archivers (ZIP, GZIP, and TAR), and some multimedia protocols (JPEG, GIF, and PNG).
The purpose of the Pypect module is to make Python a better glue. It works like Expect, and allows you to start a child application and have your script control it as if a human were typing commands. It is a pure Python module for spawning child applications, controlling them, and responding to expected patterns in their output. It can be used for automating interactive applications such as SSH, FTP, passwd, telnet, etc, to automate setup scripts for duplicating software package installations on different servers, and for automated software testing. It should work on any platform that supports the standard Python PTY module. The interface was designed to be easy to use, so that simple tasks are easy.
Dynamic Probes (Dprobes) is a generic and pervasive system debugging facility that will operate under the most extreme software conditions such as debugging a deep-rooted operating system problem in a live environment. Dprobes allows the insertion of fully automated breakpoints or probepoints anywhere in the system and user space. Each probepoint has an associated set of probe instructions that are interpreted when the probe fires. These instructions allow memory and CPU registers to be examined and altered using conditional logic. When the probe command terminates, prior to returning to the probed code, a syslog record may be optionally generated.
The Open Hardware Certification Program (OHCP) Test Suite is a collection of tests to verify the compatibility of your hardware with Open Source operating systems. Tests have been contributed by multiple authors and organizations, and are bundled with documentation, test procedures, and some automation scripts to help run the tests.
PHP Profiler Class performs code profiling and aids performance optimisation by locating the areas of code that consume most processing time. The reports it produces provide information on the number of calls to a code section, as well as the percentage and total of time spent on a section. Timing of multiple nested code sections is possible. It requires function calls to be manually inserted in the code being profiled.
Sirid is a Web-based tool for managing software projects. The main features of Sirid are assigning tasks between the personnel, reporting bugs, managing specifications, and recording feature requests. The program also sends notifications of new bugs and tasks to people who have been set responsible for them, and notifies the responsible people when the deadline of some bug or task is approaching. It features graphical presentations for tracking the progress of your project. Sirid keeps you informed of the status of each of your projects, and allows you to take action if difficulties arise.
