Benerator is a performance test data generation tool. It can be used to completely synthesize test data or import and anonymize production data. Its emphasis is on generating valid data even for complex constraints and on being platform-independent. You can define generators for your business domain, exchange them freely (under GPL) with colleagues, and reuse them for creating data for different target platforms. It is highly extendable, supporting a wide range of service provider interfaces, and can execute scripts in JavaScript, Ruby, Python, Groovy, and other script languages.

Likwid is a set of easy to use command line tools for Linux. It supports programmers in developing high performance multi-threaded programs. "Likwid" stands for "Like I knew what I am doing". It contains the following tools: likwid-topology, which shows thread and cache topology; likwid-perfctr, which measures hardware performance counters on Intel and AMD processors; likwid-features, which shows and toggles hardware prefetch control bits on Intel Core 2 processors; likwid-pin, which pins a threaded application without touching its code (it supports pthreads, Intel OpenMP, and gcc OpenMP), likwid-powermeter which prints the Turbo mode steps and measures energy consumption on supported Intel processors, and likwid-bench, a low level benchmarking framework. It works with any standard Linux kernel. Likwid is lightweight and adds no overhead during measurements.

Feed4JUnit makes it easy to write parameterized tests for the JUnit framework and feed them with predefined or randomly generated test data: test case data can be read from Excel or CSV files, databases, or custom data sources, and equivalence class tests can be defined easily. Setup is based on Java annotations and is easy to learn, apply, and maintain. Annotations defined in the "Bean Validation" JSR 303, Java 7, and Benerator are automatically recognized and generated smoke test data will match the constraints. By connecting to Benerator, you can configure generation of complex valid and invalid data sets.

HOL-TestGen allows one to write test specifications in Higher-order logics (HOL). It can (semi-) automatically partition the input space, resulting in abstract test cases, and automatically select concrete test data. Automatic generation of test harnesses (in SML) is supported, and using a foreign language interface, implementations in arbitrary languages (e.g. C) can be tested.
