IPv6 CARE, "IPv6 Compliant Automatic Runtime Environment", provides an environment where applications instantly become IPv6-compliant ('patch' mode, see RFC6535). It can also generate a diagnosis about the IPv6 compliance of an application ('check' mode). It uses an LD_PRELOAD-based library injection technique.
RFDUMP is a GUI to edit the "User Data Fields" on RFID tags and to test if a tag is protected against reading or writing. It implements a real life cookie on RFID tags. The tags that are supported for reading, writing, and editing are ISO 15693, ISO 14443 A, ISO 14443 B, SR176(1,2), Tag-it®, and I-Code®.
DUMA (Detect Unintended Memory Access) stops your program on the exact instruction that overruns (or underruns) a malloc() memory buffer. GDB will then display the source-code line that causes the bug. It works by using the virtual-memory hardware to create a red-zone at the border of each buffer: touch that, and your program stops. It can catch formerly impossible-to-catch overrun bugs. DUMA is a fork of Bruce Perens' Electric Fence library.
Impost is a network security auditing tool designed to analyze the forensics behind compromised and/or vulnerable daemons. There are two different kinds of operating modes; it can either act as a honey pot and take orders from a Perl script controlling how it responds and communicates with connecting clients, or it can operate as a packet sniffer and monitor incoming data to specified destination port supplied by the command-line arguments.
YourKit Java Profiler is a CPU and memory profiler that makes it easy to solve wide range of CPU- and memory-related performance problems. It features automatic leak detection, powerful tools for the analysis of memory distribution, an object heap browser, comprehensive memory tests as part of your JUnit testing process, extremely low profiling overhead, transparent deobfuscation support, and integration with Eclipse, JBuilder, IntelliJ IDEA, NetBeans, and JDeveloper IDEs.
