NASLite is a Network Attached Storage (NAS) server operating system designed to transform a basic computer into a dedicated file server. Utilizing highly optimized versions of Samba, uCLibc, BusyBox, and various other Linux tools, it provides SMB/CIFS, FTP, or NFS filesystem support. It accommodates multiple client OSes: Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. NASLite offers SMART disk monitoring and large file support, and is incredibly easy to install and administer.
PAC provides a GUI to configure SSH and Telnet connections, including usernames, passwords, EXPECT regular expressions, and macros. It is similar in function to SecureCRT or Putty. It is intended for people who connect to many servers through SSH. It can automate logins and command executions.

SecureCRT provides terminal emulation with secure remote access, file transfer (SFTP and X/Y/Zmodem), and data tunneling. Supported access protocols are SSH 1 and 2, telnet, telnet/SSL, and serial. It has emulation support for VT100/102/220, ANSI, SCO ANSI, Wyse 50/60, Xterm, and Linux consoles. It provides session management and tabbed sessions in one or more windows. The program is fully scriptable via VBScript, JScript, PerlScript, or Python.
Exscript is a scripting language for automating network connections over protocols such as Telnet or SSH. It is in some ways comparable to Expect, but has some unique features that make it a lot easier to use and understand for non-developers. It supports parallelization, logging, authentication mechanisms, and a lot more.
psyced is a distributed chat and messaging system based on the Protocol for SYnchronous Conferencing. PSYC is multicast and routed between servers and clients in a scalable and efficient way, but users can also comfortably use IRC clients, telnet, Web chat, WAP, or Jabber to enter the network. psyced also communicates with the network of Jabber/XMPP servers and hosts programmable chat rooms for all of these technologies at once. It also provides gateways to several IRC networks, but unlike IRC, everyone can run a server and be an equal member of the PSYC network. It supports PSYC, XMPP, IRC, TELNET, HTTP, Applet, SMTP, WAP, XML, RSS, and TLS.
