SipUnit provides a class library that allows software developers to create automated unit tests for SIP applications. Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is widely used for providing telephone services over the Internet. SipUnit extends the JUnit framework to incorporate SIP-specific assertions, and it provides a high-level API for performing the SIP operations needed to interact with or invoke a test target. A test program using the SipUnit API is written in Java and acts as a network element that sends/receives SIP requests and responses.
VoiceBuntu (formerly Ubunterisk) is an Ubuntu-based live CD that uses Asterisk and VoiceOne to provide VoIP service without any system installation process. VoiceOne is a Web-based GUI for the Asterisk PBX. Ubunterisk can be used as a phone client as well as a PBX server. Ubunterisk can be administered either remotely or by accessing its local GUI. A capser-rw filesystem is used to store the system's data persistently.
ObexTool is a graphical frontend for ObexFTP, which is able to communicate with mobiles and other devices using the Obex Protocol. The Siemens S45, S45i, S25, S35, SL45i, SL45, M50, C55, S55, C65, C65V, Ericsson R320, T68i, Sony/Ericsson T300, Ki700, and Nokia 6230 and 6670 have been reported to work with obexftp, though it should also work with other phones.
python-gammu is a set of Python bindings for Gammu, the GSM mobile manager for various cellular phones. It can work with any phone that Gammu supports, including many models by Nokia, Siemens, and Alcatel. python-gammu is now part of the Gammu project and it does not have separate releases anymore.
This package contains generic Linux drivers for the Conexant (formerly Rockwell) Softmodem HSF modem family, which are used by many modem and computer system manufacturers. They should work on most current Linux distributions, based on the 2.4.x kernels. A Pentium processor with the MMX enhancements is required. Some systems may require kernel recompilation with special ACPI patches. Preemptible kernels are not yet supported.
