SER or SIP Express Router is a very fast and flexible SIP (RFC3261) server. It can handle thousands of calls per second on low-budget hadware. A C shell-like scripting language provides full control over the server's behavior. Its modular architecture allows only required functionality to be loaded. The following modules are available: accounting, digest authentication, CPL scripts, ENUM support, instant messaging, MySQL support, PostgreSQL support, a presence agent, Radius authentication and accounting, Diameter authentication, record routing, an SMS gateway, a Jabber gateway, NAT traversal support transaction module, a registrar, and user location.
asterisk-oh323 adds H.323 support to the ASTERISK soft PBX. It does this by interfacing the OpenH323 library to ASTERISK through a loadable module. The package provides the channel driver as well as a wrapper in a shared library form. It is able to initiate and receive calls to and from H.323 endpoints, and has been successfully tested with the H.323 terminals on the OpenH323 site (ohphone, openphone), GnomeMeeting, Microsoft NetMeeting, Cisco routers, H.323 Snom phones, and other hardware and software H.323 IP phones.

Kallers is KDE system tray applet that displays the caller ID information sent by phone companies. It requires a caller ID capable modem. It logs every call internally using an XML format, displays call infomation non- intrusively using a popup window, and optionally plays a ring sound when a call is received. It can optionally ignore anonymous calls. A handy call browser lets you view the call information.
Gammu (formerly known as MyGnokii2) is a cellular manager for various mobile phones/modems. It supports a wide variety of Nokia, Symbian, and AT devices (Siemens, Alcatel, Falcom, WaveCom, IPAQ, Samsung, SE, and others) over cables, infrared, or BlueTooth. It contains libraries with functions for ringtones, phonebook, SMS, logos, WAP, date/time, alarm, calls, and more (used by external applications like Wammu). It also includes a command line utility that can make many things (including backups) and an SMS gateway with full MySQL and PostgreSQL support from the PHP interface.
