BalanceNG is a modern, IPv6 capable software IP load balancing solution. It is small, fast, and easy to use and set up. It offers session persistence, different distribution methods (Round Robin, Random, Weighted Random, Least Session, Least Bandwidth, Hash, Agent, and Randomized Agent) and a customizable UDP health check agent in source code. It supports VRRP to set up high availability configurations on multiple nodes. It supports SNMP, integrating the BALANCENG-MIB with Net-SNMPD. It implements a very fast in-memory IP-to-location database, allowing powerful location-based server load-balancing.
Flowgrind is a tool similar to iperf or netperf. It measures throughput and other metrics for TCP and other protocols. It features some unique characteristics: a distributed architecture, sophisticated flow scheduling, Linux kernel TCP statistics, the Anderson-Darling statistical test, rate-limited flows with uniform or Poisson distribution, and separation between control and test traffic.
tvpvrd is a PVR daemon for Linux that offers the ability to schedule and manage TV recordings using one or multiple installed analogue TV capture cards, e.g. Hauppauge. The daemon is interfaced either through its full command language via a provided command line shell or through a basic (built-in) Web interface provided by the built in micro Web server. The goal is to provide an advanced recording and transcoding (using ffmpeg) server without the need to configure databases or a complex GUI. The server is completely self-contained and uses an XML DB in plain text format to store future recordings.

Libntoh aims to be a user-friendly library to provide an easy way to perform defragmentation and reassembly of network/transport protocols. It is intended to provide a flexible, thread-safe, and highly configurable environment for the user. It performs IP defragmentation and TCP reassembly.
libnodelay is an LD_PRELOAD library for disabling Nagle's algorithm. Disabling Nagle's algorithm can result in a performance improvement for latency-sensitive applications that use TCP. Using the library may be easier than digging through a mess of code and confusing or obscure configuration options.
MammothCopy is a simple, Java-based tool to copy large or many files from one computer on the Internet directly to another. This is also possible with tools like WinSCP and an SSH server, but those are too complex for normal users. MammothCopy is geared towards parents wanting to send photos to their kids, or professionals who want to transfer huge files (only limited to the receiving end’s hard disk space).
