rfc2mib is a short Tcl script which may be used to extract MIB (Management Information Base), PIB (Policy Information Base), and ASN.1 modules from an RFC document. Unlike most extractors, this script is smart enough to recognize ASN.1-style comments prior to or within the module header. It also recognizes the use of the "TagDefaults" part of the module header (not used by MIB modules), module headers that are broken across multiple lines, and macro definitions.
The Periodic Remote Job Agent rjobs automatically sets up a PPP connection to another workstation and exchanges scripts containing job requests for the local and remote workstations. The usual method is to run rjobs as a cron job with specified weekday and weekend schedules, although "rjobs" can also be called in any other form or manner, as with any stand-alone application. Uses: E.g. control your home workstation from work without hogging the home telephone line.
sam2p is a Unix commandline utility that converts many raster (bitmap) image formats into Adobe PostScript or PDF files. The images are not vectorized. It gives full control to the user to specify standards-compliance, compression, and bit depths. It is common that sam2p can compress an image down to an 50kB Level1 PostScript file without quality loss, while other popular converters produce multi-megabyte output. It provides some Level3 compression filters even on Level1 devices.
savIRC is an IRC client for Linux, Unix, BSD, and Windows. It supports multiple server connections, SOCKS5 proxy, CTCP, DCC, passive DCC, ignore and notify lists, Unicode, mIRC colors, MDI dedicated windows, logs, customizable popups, pre-defined events, scripting in Tcl/Tk, captions for URL nicks, and channel names.
sendPGPMail.cgi is a small CGI script for sending an encrypted PGP email message to a predefined receiver from an HTTPS secured Web page. The typical use of this script is to provide the users of a secure Web site the possibility to send a secure email to a predefined employee of a company. The CGI script gets its input from an HTML form and passes it on to gpg. The message and its attachments are encrypted using the PGP public key of the predefined receiver.
steelpoll is a Web polling application which allows you to quickly and easily create and manage polls by just editing plain Tcl files. A single poll can be created by editing the variables in a single file. You can optionally control votes by checking the user's IP address. A parsed vote log can be viewed. It doesn't require any SQL database backend because it stores the results in easily parsed plain text files. It doesn't use graphics to display poll results, which is great for text-based Web browsers.
syncpasswd is an Expect script that synchronizes passwords via SSH on multiple platforms (Linux/BSD, OS X, and Solaris). It takes hostnames as a list of arguments and changes the specified user passwords on those hosts. It outputs results to stdout and logs to /var/log/syncpasswd.log (by default).
