mysqltcl is the Tcl interface to mysql realtional database. It is the next version of mysqltcl1.53 (new contributor) with many new futures: Tcl8.0-Object support, Unicode support, configure support, no connection limitation, nested queries, handling of binary files (containing null values), and many extra commands: seek on result block, escaping of string, last inserted id, introspection of connection and query state, and query metadata (schema).

PLplot is a library of C functions that are useful for making scientific plots from programs written in a wide variety of languages. Multiple graphs may be placed on a single page with multiple lines in each graph. Different line styles, widths, and colors are supported. A virtually infinite number of distinct area fill patterns may be used. A variety of output devices and file formats are supported.

pgMail is a small Tcl-based script that you can store within any PostgreSQL database. Once it is stored there, you can create any number of specialized procedures to send email from directly within PostgreSQL. For example, you can email a customer when product ships. Qbib is a bibliography management system based on Qddb. Qbib's features include the ability to import and export BibTeX .bib files and handle all standard and most common fields as well as @string translation, it can import .aux files to search results for quick export or review, and can automatically generate unique citation keys. It has a friendly user-interface and mandatory/optional fields for each BibTeX entry type. It has custom export options including author format and selection of fields to export and supports custom keyboard traversal. Qbib can also keep track of URLs, reviews, abstracts, and other important information about your references.
