MIB Smithy SDK is a dynamic extension to Tcl/Tk (8.4+) that allows development of custom scripts for controlling SNMP agents, manipulating SMI definitions, doing conversions, and more. It is based on the core of Muonics' MIB Smithy, and the SDK supports SMIv1 and SMIv2, as well as SNMPv1/v2c/v3 with HMAC-SHA-96 and HMAC-MD5-96 authentication and DES/CBC and AES128/CFB privacy. It also provides complete read-write access to all elements of SMI/MIB Module definitions, unlike similar extensions that provide only read access to a limited subset. The SDK allows multiple discrete SMI databases and SNMP sessions, and provides all of the built-in validation and error recovery capabilites of the full product, without the visual MIB development environment.
jmxsh is a fully scriptable command-line JMX client based on Tcl. It is simply a Tcl interpreter powered by Java/Tcl (with command-line history and editing provided by JLine) that has special command-line options for connecting to JMX servers and special Tcl commands for interacting with JMX servers. jmxsh is capable of simultaneously connecting to multiple JMX servers. There's also a "browse mode" for exploring the remote JMX namespace without knowing beforehand the names of MBeans or their properties. jmxsh and all its dependencies are distributed in a self-contained executable jar file for ease of use.

The client software is available for Windows as well as Userful Desktop, a locked-down multiseat desktop Linux distribution for public computers.
Moodss is a modular monitoring application, which supports operating systems (Linux, UNIX, Windows, etc.), databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2, ODBC, etc.), networking (SNMP, Apache, etc.), and any device or process for which a module can be developed (in Tcl, Python, Perl, Java, and C). An intuitive GUI with full drag'n'drop support allows the construction of dashboards with graphs, pie charts, etc., while the thresholds functionality includes emails and user defined scripts. Monitored data can be archived in a SQL database by both the GUI and the companion daemon, so that complete history over time can be made available from Web pages or common spreadsheet software. It can even be used for future behavior prediction or capacity planning, from the included predictor tool, based on powerful statistical methods and artificial neural networks.
OSSMON is an easy-to-use, Web-based monitoring package based on the OSSWEB application framework. It supports SNMP monitoring as well as specific services like POP3, SMTP, and ping. The main goal is to have a system that monitors network devices and produces alerts when a problem occurs or a device is inaccessible. Alert rules can be defined based on variables from the database or received from remote devices. It has reporting and performance charts, dynamic maps, a status console, and supports small and medium-sized networks. It has no external dependencies; everything runs on Naviserver.
IPAcco is a software package that helps a network admin to collect, visualize, and analyze IP accounting data from the Cisco routers. It downloads IP accounting data from the router, stores it in the MySQL database, provides Web access to the collected data, presenting it in a convenient graphical form, and allows the user to specify various criteria for data selection.
