giis-ext4 (gET iT i sAY) is a file recovery tool for Ext4 filesystems. Once installed, current files and newly created files can be recovered. It allows users to recover all deleted files, recover files owned by a specific user, and recover files of a specific type, such as text or PNG. It uses ext2fs lib and sqlite.
DrugList is an Android application for scheduling drug prescriptions. The prescription names are entered into a database, along with the time they are taken. When you exit that activity with the "Save and Exit" button, the time and date for the next medication to be taken is computed, and a system alarm is set. When that alarm fires, you see a ListView with only the drugs due at that time.
Yioop! is a PHP search engine. Yioop! can be configured as either a general purpose search engine for the whole Web or it can be configured to provide search results for a set of URLs or domains. Yioop can crawl pages or can directly index archives such as ARC and WARC. It supports indexing several file formats such as HTML, Atom, PDF, DOC, PPT, RTF, RSS, XML, SVG, PNG, JPG, BMP, GIF, and sitemaps. The Yioop! crawler can be deployed on one or many machines. It supports having one or more to crawl scheduler processes, as well as multiple fetchers and mirrors. Crawling respects robots.txt including Crawl-delay. Yioop! crawls are stored in a Web archive format that is easy to move around. Crawling can be done on one machine and the results deployed elsewhere. Yioop! supports mixing of crawls. Yioop! comes with a search front end that can be localized as desired using a GUI. This GUI supports RTL languages. Management of crawls can also be done using this GUI. Yioop! can be configured in a straightforward manner to make use of file caching or memcache if available.
PDO4You is a class that implements the Singleton design pattern for connecting the database using the PDO extension (PHP Data Objects). It provides an abstraction layer for accessing data, regardless of which database you are using, and ensures that there is a single object instance per database connection. It can connect to several possible SQL databases using the available PDO drivers. Currently it supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, MariaDB, Oracle, Microsoft SQL server, Sybase, and CUBRID (a database highly optimized for Web applications). The class can also execute multiple queries at once given a string in JSON format that specifies the type of query, the tables, fields, field values, conditions, etc.
dhcpy6d delivers IPv6 addresses for DHCPv6 clients, which can be identified by DUID, hostname, or MAC address, as in the good old IPv4 days. Addresses may be generated randomly, by range, or by arbitrary ID or MAC address. Clients can get more than one address, leases and client configuration can be stored in databases, and DNS can be updated dynamically.
Submin provides a Web-based admin interface to your Subversion and Git repositories. Its features include user/group management, path permission management, the ability to create svn repositories and managing commit email messages. For Subversion, authentication is done with htpasswd/svn authz, so it can use the same login information as apache2/svn (and trac). For Git, ssh is used, and the login information is synched whenever a change is made. The Web interface can also work with NGINX/uWSGI, but the Subversion part only works with Apache.
The Pegasus Workflow Management System encompasses a set of technologies which help workflow-based applications execute in a number of different environments, including desktops, campus clusters, grids, and clouds. It bridges the scientific domain and the execution environment by automatically mapping high-level workflow descriptions onto distributed resources. It automatically locates the necessary input data and computational resources necessary for workflow execution. It enables scientists to construct workflows in abstract terms without worrying about the details of the underlying execution environment or the particulars of the low-level specifications required by the middleware (Condor, Globus, or Amazon EC2). It bridges the current cyberinfrastructure by effectively coordinating multiple distributed resources.
