It takes care of the mundane stuff like internationalization, security, user management, templating, data retrieval and storage, caching, and site management. It stores content in a structured object store that can be accessed through an extensive filesystem-like API.
Marketplus is an ecommerce application based on PHP4 and MySQL for managing virtual shops. Products are organized into categories and sub-categories. Every item is associated with a detailed image and an enlargement. You can search for a particular product. Purchased products are stored in a cart which is always visible. Users are recognized by username and password. Administrators can insert, delete, and change products or categories online after authentication. Every user and order is stored in the database. European users can show products price in their own currency and in euro.
php-LugMembers is a Web interface written in PHP to access a MySQL database holding member information. It currently includes support for adding/deleting/editing users through an admin interface, and members have the ability to edit their own information and change their passwords. It has customizable header and footer files, and can be easily manipulated to add or remove database fields.
Sitegrab is a URL grabber that parses IRC logs for data and then inserts it into a database that can be searched through a web interface using a combination of announcer name, date, partial url, and type of url. Also supported is an administration mode whereby urls can be edited and deleted through the web interface.
SLOCCount is a suite of programs for counting physical source lines of code (SLOC) in possibly large software systems. It can count physical SLOC for a wide number of languages. It can take a large set of files and automatically categorize their types using a number of different heuristics, and also comes with analysis tools.
