gPodder is a Podcast receiver/catcher written in Python and pyGTK. It manages podcast feeds for you, and automatically downloads all podcasts from as many feeds as you like. If you are interested in Podcast feeds, simply put the feed URLs into gPodder and it will download all episodes for you automatically. If there is a new episode, it will get it for you. It supports download resume, if the server supports it.

The Audiere Audio System is a portable audio library which supports playing MP3, Ogg Vorbis, WAV, IT, XM, S3M, and MOD files. You can use it from C, C++, Python, Java, and any language that supports XPCOM (JavaScript in Mozilla, for example). It currently supports DirectSound 3, DirectSound 8, and arbitrary DLLs for output in Windows, and OSS in Linux.

image2wav.py is a simple python program to create a 16 bit mono wav file from a PNG or JPEG image. The audio, when played back, will recreate the image when viewed with a spectrogram. It was made after reading of a similar thing done in the music of Aphex Twin.

The PKSampler is a live DJ tool. It is different from other "live DJ tools" in that it focuses on allowing the user to mix many samples at once. The focus is on a simple touchscreen interface that allows quick access to user-supplied loops and samples. SDB (show database) is a utility to manage a collection of tradeable live shows. It features a browseable list of shows, and the ability to compile special interest lists and import or export from/to various formats, including plain text, CSV, HTML, and PDF. XML files are used to store all data. Future goals include the implementation of some BitTorrent features, especially the creation of torrent files, and some network features to share information about a recorded show.
