The Freeverb3 library includes high quality freeverb, nreverb, impulse response reverb, FIR filter constructor, band splitter, and hardknee/softknee compressor. Its oversampling feature provides high quality audio processing. The compressor provides mastering quality audio processing. This library includes XMMS plugins, audacious plugins, BMP beep media player plugins, and sample programs, which enable you to test the audio effects easily. Freeverb3_vst is a VST plugin version of the freeverb3 library.

AlsaPlayer is a new PCM player written with the ALSA sound system in mind. It also includes support for JACK, OSS, NAS, and ESD. It makes extensive use of multi-threading and supports OGG, MP3, WAV, CDDA (CD Digital Audio), MOD, S3M, IT, and many other input types. somaplayer is music player for MP3, Ogg, wav, audio CDs, MP3 streams, and Ogg streams. It is able to use the appropriate sound drivers or demons or to stream directly to an Icecast server (Icecast2 or SHOUTcast) or to encode in MP3 and Ogg Vorbis. It also acts as a sound daemon that is able to accept connections from other somaplayers or any other sound player (xmms, mpg123, and others) thanks to a special wrapper.
