SHTns is a high-performance Spherical Harmonic Transform library. It was designed for numerical simulation (fluid flows, mhd, etc.) in spherical geometries, but can be used for any kind of problem involving scalar or vector spherical harmonics. It is very fast, thanks to careful vectorization and runtime tuning. It supports multi-threaded transforms via OpenMP. It features scalar and vector transforms, synthesis and analysis, and flexible truncation and normalization. A Python interface is included.
RepoGuard is an advanced validation framework with built-in integrations for several common version control systems. The integration is carried out by utilizing the hook mechanisms each version control system provides. The user may provide configurations that are processed through inversion of control mechanisms. RepoGuard is completely written in the Python programming language, which allows for easy integration of other tools. An extensible command line tool for advanced usage is provided, which allows for comfortable administration.
The STX ExecPipe library provides a convenient C++ interface to execute child programs connected via pipes. It is a front-end to the system calls fork(), pipe(), select(), and execv() and hides all the complexity of these low-level functions. It allows a program to build a sequence of connected children programs with the input and output of the pipe sequence redirected to a file, string, or file descriptor. The library also allows custom asynchronous data processing classes to be inserted into the pipe or placed at the source or sink of the sequence.
rlimit is a program that lets you run processes with system resource limits set. It can be used by software developers and testers to test that software will run correctly in resource restricted environments. It is also useful for software which would otherwise consume excessive resources such as programs that used 100% CPU, set their own priority levels, or consume too much memory. This is basically a command line interface to the system functions getrlimit() and setrlimit().
libcsv_parser++ is a C++ library for parsing text files to extract records and fields. The records can be delimited with any set of characters. It makes the following assumptions: the record terminator is only one character in length; the field terminator is only one character in length; and the fields are enclosed by single characters, if any. The parser can handle documents where fields are always enclosed, not enclosed at all, or optionally enclosed. When fields are strictly all enclosed, there is an assumption that any enclosure characters within the field are escaped by placing a backslash in front of the enclosure character. The software could be ported to Windows with very little effort.

It is the continuation of the free software version of GForge, based on the codebase that was maintained in parallel to the proprietary GForge AS version.
LMDBG is a collection of small tools for collecting and analyzing the logs of malloc/realloc/memalign/free function calls. Unlike many others, LMDBG does not provide any way to detect overruns of the boundaries of malloc() memory allocations, as this is not the goal. Like most other malloc debuggers, LMDBG allows detecting memory leaks and double frees. However, unlike others, LMDBG generates full stacktraces and separates the logging process from analysis, thus allowing you to analyze an application on a per-module basis.
