Fresh IDE is a visual assembly language IDE with a built-in Flat assembler (FASM) compiler. It is written in Fresh IDE and is a self-compilable application. It is fully compatible with FASM and can be compiled with every version of FASM, as well. The main goal of Fresh is to make programming in assembly as fast and efficient as in high-level languages, without sacrificing the small application size and raw power of assembly language. It is a Windows application, but it runs in Wine very well and can create, compile, debug, and run applications for Windows and Linux on both Windows and Linux host machines.
Embedded GLIBC (EGLIBC) is a variant of the GNU C Library (GLIBC) which is designed to work well on embedded systems. It strives to be source- and binary-compatible with GLIBC. EGLIBC's goals include a reduced footprint, configurable components, and better support for cross-compilation and cross-testing.
FECpp is a C++ library implementing a fast forward error correction code, sometimes also called an erasure code. These codes are used to split input data into a set of n shares, with the property that if any subset of at least k shares survives, the original data can be recovered by the decoder. The number of share losses the code will tolerate can be parameterized during encoding, allowing the code to be adapted to to a variety of loss scenarios. FECpp is bit-for-bit compatible with several other FEC libraries.
libCVD is a very portable and high performance C++ library for computer vision, image, and video processing. The emphasis is on providing simple and efficient image and video handling and high quality implementations of common low-level image processing function. The library is designed in a loosely-coupled manner, so that parts can be used easily in isolation if the whole library is not required. The video grabbing module provides a simple, uniform interface for videos from a variety of sources (live and recorded) and allows easy access to the raw pixel data. Likewise, the image loading/saving module provides simple, uniform interfaces for loading and saving images from bitmaps to 64 bit per channel RGBA images. The image processing routines can be applied easily to images and video, and accelerated versions exist for platforms supporting SSE.
pichart is a GUI for pigrammar, an assembler and programmer for picloader-programmed devices. pichart offers a user-friendly interface, making programming PIC chips easy. It looks like a flow chart designer and permits operations like reading from the device's serial port, writing on it, setting ports' value, and setting timers. It also permits programming directly during execution.
The Amazing Awk Assembler (aaa) is a primitive assembler written entirely in awk and sed. It is quite slow, the input syntax is eccentric and rather restricted, and error checking is virtually nonexistent, but it does work. Furthermore it's very easy to adapt to a new machine, provided the machine falls into the generic "8-bit-micro" category.
