Proxmox is a Debian-based bundle of OpenVZ, KVM, and a Web based management GUI. It supports high-performance container-based virtualization of Linux workloads, as well as lower performance KVM hardware assisted virtualization. It supports any hardware that the Linux kernel supports, and will permit live migration of running OSIs with shared storage configurations (DRBD, CIFS, NFS, etc.). It comes bundled with many virtual appliance templates (Drupla, Moodle, FreePBX, etc.) and generic OSI appliances (Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu), as well as a faculty for building arbitrary Linux based appliances. It can be used for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and virtual server infrastructure (VSI). It supports almost any x86/x64 OS in a KVM container and any Linux-based OS in OpenVZ.

You can create XML-RPC, (simplified) SOAP 1.1, and SimpleRPC clients with one call and then call RPC methods as if they were local methods of the client. You can create a server with one call, passing it any number of objects or classes whose methods it will publish and automatically document.
SOAP/REST Mock Service is a simple configurable framework to mock out SOAP or RESTful (or "REST-like") Web services. Its main goal is to support automated integration testing of applications that integrate with 3rd party Web services. Functionality and usage scenarios of the mock service are in a way analogous to unit testing mocking tools (like Mockito or EasyMock). Once properly configured, SOAP/REST Mock Service exposes Web service mocks that can be called from application code and controlled via a REST interface from integration test code (setup, verify, etc.).
WSF Staff is Web Service Framework for C++, AJAX, and J2ME that is based on Apache Axis2/C. WSF Staff wraps Apache Axis2/C code into C++, and also provides many additional features: a stateful Web services implementation in C++ with instance support, a synchronous and asynchronous client implementation in C++, AJAX, and J2ME, a service-component architecture implementation, support for RESTful Web services and clients, WSDL support with xsd import and export, J2ME client support (based on ksoap), a flexible and extensible code generator to generate any sort of Web service related source code (not only in C++), security support (users, groups, sessions, ACLs, etc.), and a Web application toolkit (webapp) with widget support.
XINS is a technology used to define, create, and invoke remote APIs. XINS is specification-oriented. When API specifications are written (in XML), XINS will transform them to HTML-based documentation and Java code for both the client-side and the server-side. The communication is based on HTTP. XINS competes with the complex SOAP technology. Main design goals include simplicity, scalability, and testability. XINS is not only a specification technology, but also an application development framework. It offers transaction logging, unique log documentation, and active code generation.

It provides an HA load-balancer, hot-deployment, and hot-reconfiguration almost everywhere (forget server restarts). It has a browser-based GUI, CLI, and API (forget XML configuration). It supports many protocols, industry standards, and data formats, including HTTP, JSON, SOAP, REST, AMQP, JMS WebSphere MQ, ZeroMQ, Redis, SQL, and FTP.
