XML::Template is a highly configurable X(HT)ML document processing framework designed for constructing Web sites and Web applications. The essential framework provides document parsing and caching, scalar, array, nested, and XPath variables, and subroutines. Plugin modules can be easily added to extend the available tag set using XML namespace conventions. XML::Template comes with numerous plugin modules that provide tag sets for variable iteration, conditionals, exception handling, and database queries and iterations. It also comes with a Web site administrator and content management application designed entirely using the XML::Template framework and included plugin modules.

tgen generates a Web site from a collection of input files of a variety of types, using a set of registered HTML autogenerators. This allows, for example, the generation a Web site consisting of plain text pages, EtText formatted files, man or POD documentation, and/or custom formats, with a consistent and attractive look-and-feel. It is a driver program; the actual conversion work is done by a set of plugin filters or "autoformatters" (named *2hts[.*]).
vTemplate is a PHP class that is intended to make splitting PHP from HTML a simple and natural task. It has easily understandable syntax that is much easier to use than other template classes. It compiles a template into native PHP code using one PCRE call, thus the parsing is extremely fast. It also has powerful caching and debugging classes to extend the functionality.
