The sniffy project can trace/log the data of any pseudo terminal in the system. Due to the way the terminal works, such a terminal trace provides complete information of what happened on the terminal screen, and sniffy is able to display/replay this information. It consists of a kernel module able to connect/hook on the pseudo terminal, a program to display the contents of any pseudo terminal on the fly, a daemon process tracing the pseudo terminal content into the file, and a replay program to replay any stored pseudo terminal session.
'pksh' is a hack of the popular 'tcsh' for packets, bytes hosts, and protocols counts. It is a shell, a network sniffer, a query language for network monitoring, and finally a rendering engine to display in a form readable for humans and network administrators all traffic on LAN segments. It aims to give on character-based terminals the same level of information 'ntop' already provides via its embedded Web interface. It does not continuously fill the terminal with packet/byte/protocol information, but allows the user to perform his daily job at the shell level and take a look at network only via a set of commands implemented as extensions to native tcsh built-ins. Output can be filtered/sorted/paged/mailed/etc. using native Unix commands.
phpRemoteShell is an all-in-one Web application to manage servers remotely. It contains a full-featured file manager, the ability to execute shell commands or code written for PHP, SQL, or LDAP, a crontab manager, and a zombie manager. It can also host itself into existing files and auto-deploy during their execution. In case it has been previously encrypted, it is able to self-decrypt on the fly.
ldp (LDAP Distributed Profile) will read a user-specific shell profile (.profile) from an LDAP directory server upon login, allowing users (including multiple people operating as root) to always have the same settings irrespective of which machine they are working on. ldp also operates correctly when logging in via SSH via public key auth.
PyDSH is a toolset to help simplify the administration of remote systems. The pydsh command enables running of a command on multiple hosts in parallel over RSH, SSH, or telnet, and manages your SSH public and private keys. The pydcp command enables SCP-like functions to and from multiple hosts in parallel.

rrs is a reverse (connecting) remote shell. Instead of listening, it will connect out to rrs in listen mode. The listener will accept the connection and receive a shell from the remote host. rrs features full pseudo-TTY support, full OpenSSL support (client/server authentication and choice of cipher suites), Twofish encryption, a simple XOR cipher, plain-text sessions, peer-side session snooping, a daemon option, and reconnection features. It is known to compile and run under Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, and QNX.
