NetCrack is cluster software developed to distribute a hashing algorithm's cracking process work using a brute force attack. Currently, it only supports the two most commonly used hashing algorithms: MD5 and SHA-1. Support is included for MySQL, safe mode, and others. It works like a client/server application, where the server is unique for each cluster network and its job is to distribute the cracking process work, coordinate the nodes, and prevent connections and data integrity errors.
NetCrypto is a library of functions and a framework to interface with crypto algorithms provided by the calling application, built-in, or provided through shared libraries. It was developed with some features from OpenSSL in mind and with some inspiration from OpenSSL's EVP layer and ENGINE framework.
NetEclipse is a suite of tools created for testing TCP/IP weaknesses and using them in a non-conventional way, such as testing security and limits of IP version 4 protocols. This project will include a sniffer, a TCP hijacker, an ARP poisoner and a TCP tunnel through ICMP/IGMP packets. Only the sniffer is currently complete.

The Network Security Policy Compiler (NetSPoC) is a tool for security management of large computer networks with different security domains. It generates configuration files for packet filters controlling the borders of security domains. It provides its own language for describing security policy and the topology of a network. The security policy is a set of rules that state which packets are allowed to pass the network and which are not. NetSPoC is topology aware; a rule for traffic from A to B is automatically applied to all managed packet filters on the path from A to B.
NetSQUID is a Perl script (daemon) that sits in between Snort and IPTables. It gathers alerts generated by Snort, then automatically creates an IPTables firewall entry to block the alerting host (such as those infected by viruses). Web traffic is redirected to a Web server that can alert the user to the infection. The host is automatically unblocked after a specified time. It can also send DHCP address requests, so rogue DHCP servers can be detected by Snort.
