Better ASN is a Java ASN.1 API that focuses on speed and efficiency rather than extended functionality. This strategy prescribes one-pass decoding and near 100% encoding efficiency for typical ASN.1 usage patterns. Although BASN was developed for use by a Certificate Authority, the release comes packaged with an ASN.1 to Java compiler, which can be used to generate Java implementations of ASN.1 structures. This allows the API to be used for any Java application that may require ASN.1 decoding/manipulation/encoding.
Comono is a collection of general purpose utilities for Java. These are reusable code snippets and components you would most likely need in every Java project. Comono is used in various other Livrona projects and can be used in any other custom projects and applications. It includes functions for logging, XML parsing and manipulation, exceptions, errors, assertions, encryption and digest generation, emailing, and more.
The Enterprise Sign On Engine (ESOE) allows an enterprise to meet its goals for identity management, single sign on, authorization, federation, and accountability for resource access in a very extensible manner. The ESOE is built using the OASIS SAML 2.0 specification, and the ESOE's powerful authorization engine is built around a reduced version of the OASIS XACML 2.0 standard called Lightweight eXtensible Authorization Control Markup Language or "LXACML".
Expresso Framework is an open standards-based J2EE architectural framework that allows the developer to concentrate on application logic. It is a library of extensible Java Server application framework components for creating database-driven Web applications based on open standards. Expresso integrates with Apache Jakarta Struts, which emphasizes presentation and application configuration, and bringing a powerful tag library to Expresso. Expresso adds capabilities for security, robust object-relational mapping, background job handling and scheduling, self-tests, logging integration, automated table manipulation, database connection pooling, email connectivity, event notification, error handling, caching, internationalization, XML automation, testing, registration objects, configuration management, workflow, automatic database maintenance, and a JSP tag library.
Expresso Webservices provides a standards-based architecture and toolset for creating and deploying Web services with full cross-platform access to your Expresso J2EE controllers. Its framework emphasizes portability and security and is based on open specifications such as SOAP, WSDL, and UDDI.
Ganymed SSH-2 for Java is a library that implements the SSH-2 protocol in pure Java (tested on J2SE 1.4.2, 5, and 6). It allows one to connect to SSH servers from within Java programs. It supports SSH sessions (remote command execution and shell access), local and remote port forwarding, local stream forwarding, X11 forwarding, SCP, and SFTP. There are no dependencies on any JCE provider, as all cryptographic functionality is included.
Groovy is an agile, dynamic language for the JVM which combines many features from languages like Python, Ruby, and Smalltalk and makes them available to Java developers using a Java-like syntax. It is designed to help get things done on the Java platform in a quicker, more concise, and fun way. It can be used as an alternative compiler to javac to generate standard Java bytecode to be used by any Java project or it can be used dynamically as an alternative language, such as for scripting Java objects, templating, or writing unit test cases.
