The TenDRA compiler is a C/C++ compiler aimed at being a state of the art compiler: incorporating new research ideas, always producing correct code, and improving compiler performance where possible given the previous points. It offers ANSI/ISO C features and strong code verification. It is developed on a number of different operating systems and architectures.
distributed.net is a loosely knit group of computer users from all of the world that is taking up challenges requiring lots of computing power (most notably the RC5, DES, and OGR cracking contests). It is simple to participate in the challenges by downloading and running their client software (which uses idle CPU time to complete its tasks).

X2c is an Xbase compiler that creates executable programs from Xbase source on any Unix or C platform. This is accomplished by creating C source from the Xbase source, compiling, and linking with included Xbase function libraries. Whilst the C source is considered an intermediate stage for X2c, it can be used and developed as any other C source. The X2c dialect of Xbase accepts virtually all statements from Borland (was Ashton-Tate), dBASE III PLUS, Computer Associates (was Nantucket), Clipper (Summer '87), and Microsoft (was Fox Software) FoxBASE (2.1). Selected Foxpro statements are also supported.
