PhoNetInfo retrieves detailed phone and network information. It runs on Symbian "Belle", S^3/"Anna", and S60 5th and 3rd edition mobile phones. Information about the following topics can be retrieved: Phone manufacturer and model, firmware version, battery level, WLAN and bluetooth MAC, bluetooth device class, IMSI, IMEI, subscriber ID, charger status, running tasks, active profile settings, network mode, network signal strength and cell ID, network name and ID, network country code and registration status, CPU speed, CPU type and architecture, size of RAM and ROM, time since last reboot, and more. All information can be saved to a file.
Genius is an arbitrary precision integer and multiple precision floating point calculator. It includes its own programming language similar in some aspects to C, bc, or Pascal. It can deal with rational numbers and complex numbers. It has matrix support as well. It uses the gmp library so it is very fast for calculations of large numbers. It has a command line and a GNOME interface. The GNOME interface supports plotting functions and 3D surfaces.
Lynkeos processes astronomical webcam images. By stacking the best images, the signal to noise ratio is increased, and details lost in the noise of individual images become visible in the resulting image. This software accepts, as input, QuickTime, AVI, and MPEG sequences, or still images, in any image format supported by its active plugins (TIFF, FITS) and Cocoa. It generates a 16-bit RGB TIFF or a monochrome FITS image as output, to be further processed with some all-purpose image processing application.
PHPLOT is a PHP graphics class for creating charts and plots. It works with PHP5 (but older versions can use PHP4). PHPlot uses the PHP GD extension to produce PNG, GIF, or JPEG images. TrueType fonts (TTF) are optional, or built-in GD fonts can be used. The available plot types are: area, bars, line/points, lines, pie, points, squared, stacked-bars, and thin bar-line. Labels, tick marks, plot legend, X/Y axes, and more are all configurable. Images can be imported as a background, multiple graphs can be drawn on one image, and images can be saved to disk or returned to a browser.
MCS MyRoute helps diagnose connectivity problems with detailed network routing discovery and analysis, providing visibility to poor-performing networks and devices. It includes a Java applet that enables remote users to easily test connections from the MyRoute server. Essential diagnostic tools including traceroute, ping, reverse DNS, and whois are combined into a single graphical interface that analyzes Internet connections, reporting quick and essential data points for finding connectivity problems. The core of aseba is a lightweight virtual machine tiny enough to run even on microcontrollers. Robots are programmed in a user-friendly scripting language using a cozy integrated development environment.
Fityk is nonlinear curve-fitting and data analysis software. It allows data visualization, separation of overlapping peaks, and least squares fitting using standard Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm, a genetic algorithm, or Nelder-Mead simplex method. It knows about many functions (mostly bell-shaped, like Gaussian, Loretzian, Pearson 7, Voigt, Pseudo-Voigt, and Doniach-Sunjic) and user-defined functions can be easily added. It also enables background subtracting, data calibration, and task automation with a simple script language. It is mainly used to analyze powder diffraction patterns, chromatography, photoluminescence, infrared, and Raman spectroscopy, but it can be used to fit analytical functions to any kind of data.
