DiaLog (Diabetic Logbook) is a memo application for all diabetics with a Palm Pilot. It enables you to enter your diabetes-related data quickly and easily and to view them later sorted by date. Additionaly, you can calculate the neccesary amount of insulin you will need, based on the sugar and food you're going to eat.
Astro Info is an astronomical ephemeris/almanac for PalmOS. It displays some basic information useful to stargazers, such as rise, trans, and set times, coordinates, magnitude and phase information for Sun, Moon, and the other 8 planets and stars. It can display a view of the sky (with stars, the Sun, Moon, and planets positioned) at arbitrary times and locations. You can also search for objects based on their names and see where they are.
The ATLAS (Automatically Tuned Linear Algebra Software) project is an ongoing research effort focusing on applying empirical techniques in order to provide portable performance. It provides C and Fortran77 interfaces to a portably efficient BLAS implementation, as well as a few routines from LAPACK.
GeoNiche is a GPS enabled PalmOS program for geocaching, hiking, fishing, bicycling, and other outdoor activities. In addition to a whole host of standard features, GeoNiche includes many features not found in other GPS applications. It imports geocaching data. It has advanced target and route sorting. There are multiple user-definable configurations. It includes many coordinate display and input formats. It keeps a waypoint visitation time/date which can be updated automatically. An alarm tone can sound when the user is near a target.
MarsClock is designed to aid engineers, astronomers, Gods of War, Hrossa, and specifically mission controllers for the upcoming NASA MER and ESA Beagle-II missions to Mars. It converts to and from Earth time (Local and UTC) and Mars time (Local Mean Solar Time and Local True Solar Time) for any location.
mapview is an application for viewing maps on Palm OS handhelds. You can scroll through a map and switch between different layers. Layers may be used for different zoom levels. mapview includes a Perl program for building maps from image files on a Unix/Linux desktop. Instructions and a Makefile for building a demo map are included.
