DotProject is a Web-based project management framework that includes modules for companies, projects, tasks (with Gantt charts), forums, files, a calendar, contacts, tickets/helpdesk, multi-language support, user/module permissions, and themes. It is translated into 17 languages and has a modular design that allows extra modules (such as time sheets and inventory) to be added in easily.
The idea behind dvbd is to make maximum use of your DVB card by allowing multiple channels on the same frequency to be tuned. It is split into a daemon (dvbd) and client programs (dvbcat, dvbsched, and dvblist). It is possible to associate a priority with a connection to the daemon, so that (depending on the given priority) the tuner can be made available by dropping connections of inferior priority. DVB-T, DVB-S, and DVB-C are supported. Conditional Access Modules (CAMs) are not yet supported.

It supports recurring events, comments, groups, types, categories, priorities, status, comments, files, links, sorting, month, week, day, and year views, tooltips, JSCalendar date selection, and new design templates. It features very flexible security and supports permissions on the groups that can view, add, edit, and delete events.
Email-reminder allows users to define events that they want to be reminded of by email. Possible events include birthdays, anniversaries, weekly, monthly, and yearly events. Reminders can be sent on the day of the event and a few days beforehand. It uses a cron job to checks for events and send reminders once a day, and a simple GUI that allows users to edit the reminders they want to receive.
etmTk is an event and task manager. In contrast to most calendar/todo applications, creating items (events, tasks, and so forth) in etm does not require filling out fields in a form. Instead, items are created as free-form text entries using a simple, intuitive format and stored in plain text files. Both a graphical user interface based on Tkinter and a command line interface are provided.
