JTTui is a Ruby library for text mode user interfaces based on the curses library. It should work on most Unix-like systems. Because this library is written in Ruby, it follows the object paradigm in the native Ruby way. It contains widgets like dialogs, buttons, checkboxes, listboxes, and trees. The licence is the same as Ruby, allowing use of the GNU GPL or one less restrictive.
Multi-User Environment Server (MUES) is a multi-threaded, event-driven Internet game environment server written in Ruby. It is intended to facilitate the building of online multi-player games or simulations, by providing one or more dynamically programmed object environments (worlds), the means to access these environments (using a network client), various useful services or daemons (for creating in-game systems), and an event system (for facilitating the interaction of all the parts).
ruby update is a ruby script which helps people who install their packages from source keep their packages up to date. It does not attempt to install anything on its own, but simply scans your file system and lets you know if there is an updated version of a particular program. rupdate can only check the status of those programs for which it has been hard-coded to check.

PYX is a highly simplified XML derivative/substitute suitable for use in certain applications. In particular, PYX markup is easy to parse, and PYX documents are easily processed with simple tools. MyoPyx is a compact PYX document parser with a SAX-like API. Its small size makes it convenient for embedding in other applications who need some form of structured document markup, but don't need the weight of a full XML processor. It provides both Java and Ruby validating, streaming parsers.
