STermPro is a powerful program for serial port monitoring and control with protocols. STermPro lets you control a serial device with parameters, not bytes. An auto-answer feature helps with debugging and emulating external devices. Sending and receiving us supported simultaneously on many serial ports. Mixed strings with hex characters can be sent. Clearly arranged messages can be analyzed using the unique serial port flow visualization method. Custom serial devices and baud rates are supported.

nad_daemon is a daemon used to remote control NAD amplifiers over RS232. It will accept commands from the network and send them to the amplifier. It also includes a simple client. It has only been tested on the C355bee, but it should work with other amplifiers. Certain receivers from NAD will also be remote controllable in this fashion, but the more fancy features are not yet implemented.

Dursamvad serves as a simple testing tool for RS232 communication. It can display the received bytes, show the status of modem lines, and monitor the communications of two devices. It is possible to use USB-to-RS232 adapters with it.
