Babelize is a collection of localizations for Linux games. It currently features French, German, Polish, and Spanish translations for "Heroes of Might and Magic III", as well as French, German, and Spanish translations for "Alpha Centauri - Alien Crossfire". The goal of the project is to provide localizations for as many native Linux games as possible.
Quantum Star SE is a browser-based space strategy and trading game played across a mapped galaxy against other players. Utilizing mining, trading, research, and production through easy-to-use tools, QS enables both broad micro-management of resources or more "aggregated" methods. Players compete, combat enemy fleets, and manage planets to become the "last man standing". No user downloads are required, and the game is free to host or play.
"The Game" is a project designed to simplify the process of producing any high-quality cross-platform 2D or 3D graphical computer game. The hope is that any game can be produced simply by changing a few settings and pressing a "compile" button. The project has three "deliverables": a game engine library to abstract across the set of all possible computer games (applying object-oriented design methods to the general problem in such a way as to be usable in specific instances); a graphical interface for easy game design (an exercise in human interface design); and a gaming package with a lot of shiny games to play.
