ManiWheel is a GL hack for xscreensaver. It draws the spinning Tibetan mantra, "OM MANI PEME HUNG" for the blessing of all beings. It features transparent and no-transparent modes, two internal textures, the option to enable or disable a specular image. The height, radius, shininess, distance, and speed of rotation may be changed. It can also be used to draw any texture in the .rgb format.
DharmaDoc automates most of the tedious work involved in setting up a local Web server that contains a Buddhist reference library. The program allows you to download and install documents, and generates a search engine index. Afterward, you can just type your Buddhist topic of interest into a Web browser and get a wealth of information.

Kio-Sword provides access to Bibles, commentaries, and other texts from within the Konqueror Web browser. It does so by using the SWORD Bible project and implementing a KDE ioslave that provides a sword:/ protocol. Among other things it features hyperlinked cross references, searching, and easy customization.
