The SWORD Project is an effort to create an ever expanding software package for research and study of God and His Word. Libraries are developed in ANSI-draft standard C++ and currently compile on Linux and in WIN32 environments. Frontends complete and currently under development include commandline tools, gtk, wxGTK, Qt, Gtk--, and WIN32 C++Builder). Addon modules include Bible texts, commentaries, lexicons, and dictionaries in a variety of languages.
The purpose of Mind AI is to build an artificial mind based on some advanced concepts: machine learning, representation and meta representation of concepts, concept reflection, reification (concept to meta concept), and denotation (meta concept to concept), and to explore some new concepts. Interaction with the AI is done via IRC.
DharmaDoc automates most of the tedious work involved in setting up a local Web server that contains a Buddhist reference library. The program allows you to download and install documents, and generates a search engine index. Afterward, you can just type your Buddhist topic of interest into a Web browser and get a wealth of information.
PalmBible+ is a full-featured Bible viewer for PalmOS 3.5 and up, based on Poetry Poon's BibleReader. It includes searching (term and phrase), split screen, Hebrew and Greek support, CJK compatibility, Plucker-compatible anti-aliased fonts (under OS5 only), display rotation, external dictionary lookup, drag-scrolling, full VFS support, categorizable bookmarks with annotations, full keyboard/graffiti/hardkey configurability, and fast-tap/fast-typeable verse choosers. It includes support for all resizable screens (Sony Silk, Palm DIA, Handera Silk) as well as the Dana AlphaSmart's wide and tall modes.
