img2pdf is a simple commandline utility to convert a list of PNG, TIFF, or JPEG images to a single PDF document, one image per page. It was designed specifically to convert scanned pages to PDF format, but it will accept images of any aspect ratio and scale them to full page size (which, in general, will not maintain the aspect ratio). The hard work is performed by the Panda PDF library and its dependencies.
Surftree is an applet that displays data organized in a spreadsheet as an expandable tree on a Web page. The tree can be 9 levels deep and have over 65,000 nodes. Each node can display up to 4 independent Web pages or JPG images. It works with Java 1.0 and 1.1+ and in any Web server environment.
SDB (show database) is a utility to manage a collection of tradeable live shows. It features a browseable list of shows, and the ability to compile special interest lists and import or export from/to various formats, including plain text, CSV, HTML, and PDF. XML files are used to store all data. Future goals include the implementation of some BitTorrent features, especially the creation of torrent files, and some network features to share information about a recorded show.
DataDrafter is a program that allows you to create your own interactive graphics applications with data editing, navigation, search, and reporting features built in. Use it instead of Visio, for example, to create diagrams, maps, and technical drawings that are interactive and fully integrated with your data. Your visualizations become real applications instead of just wallpaper. You can even share your graphics and data as an application on the Web, or on your own intranet.
The metric implemented in the Image::Density Perl Module estimates the density of data where there is data, and has a reasonable correlation with goodness as judged by humans. That is, if you let a human look at a set of images and judge quality, the density values for those images as calculated here tend to correlate well with the human judgement (densities that are too high or too low represent "bad'' images). It is intended for use on bitonal TIFF images, such as those from scanning paper documents.
