AccuRev is a fast, powerful, and easy-to-use Software Configuration Management (SCM) tool with integrated issue tracking based on "Streams" that more efficiently manages complex parallel and global development. Streams are a combination and superset of branches and labels that are first class objects instead of being file-by-file attributes. AccuRev records all merges and patches, so you never have to re-merge the same code. It supports file and directory renaming and merging, follows a client/server model, and is transaction-based. It includes an integrated graphical 3-way diff and merge tool. AccuRev provides an Open API (and SDK) to integrate with any third-party development tool (IBM/Rational ClearQuest, Serena TeamTrack, and more out of the box). It also integrates with Eclipse, the MS SCC API (MS Visual Studio), Sun Java Studio, any diff/merge tool with a command line interface, and more.
xTests is a small, simple, lightweight, portable unit/component testing library for exercising C and C++ libraries. It relies on no platform-specific or compiler-specific constructs and doesn't require pre-processing of your source code by scripting languages or use macros to create secret classes that use Schwarz counters to register test cases. It relies on you to simply code what you want, and nothing that you don't want.
AnthillPro is a build management and lifecycle automation server for the enterprise that makes the build and release process easy and efficient. As a continuous integration server, it can produce a new build for every developer check-in. The entire team can be alerted to problems via email or instant message. Each build can then be promoted to higher statuses, or deployed to various servers and environments using your scripts. At every step, AnthillPro records who did what to keep your auditors happy.
Higher Order Logic (HOL) is a programming environment in which theorems can be proved and proof tools implemented. Built-in decision procedures and theorem provers can automatically establish many simple theorems. An Oracle mechanism gives access to external programs such as SAT and BDD engines. HOL 4 is particularly suitable as a platform for implementing combinations of deduction, execution, and property checking.
PHPXref is a Perl script that cross-references classes, functions, variables, and SQL tables used in a PHP-based Web site and generates simple HTML output designed to make browsing through code easy. In addition, it can extract phpdoc style comments from the PHP files to provide browsable documentation.
SipUnit provides a class library that allows software developers to create automated unit tests for SIP applications. Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is widely used for providing telephone services over the Internet. SipUnit extends the JUnit framework to incorporate SIP-specific assertions, and it provides a high-level API for performing the SIP operations needed to interact with or invoke a test target. A test program using the SipUnit API is written in Java and acts as a network element that sends/receives SIP requests and responses.
JCR is a Web application for performing and managing formal code reviews. Although it has some special logic for reviewing Java projects, it can be used for reviews of any type of source code. JCR manages all stages of the review process (initial project setup, individual review, joint review meeting, post-review tidy-up), but it's mainly there to show diff views of files that have changed and to allow comments to be made on any line of any file marked for review.
SLOCCount is a suite of programs for counting physical source lines of code (SLOC) in possibly large software systems. It can count physical SLOC for a wide number of languages. It can take a large set of files and automatically categorize their types using a number of different heuristics, and also comes with analysis tools.
SubEthaSMTP is an easy to understand Java library that provides a receptive SMTP server component. By plugging this component into your Java application, you can easily receive SMTP mail using a simple abstract Java interface. Also included is a small sub-project called Wiser, an easy to use incoming mail testing framework.
